Emmy is a quality mare from the Hanoverian "E" line through Escudo II combined with the Thoroughbred lines of AP Indy, Halo, Cox's Ridge, and In Reality. Bred for temperament and athleticism, with Thoroughbred stamina and Warmblood movement, Emmy would make a well-rounded upper level eventer or brilliant show jumper. In only one round of competition as a 3 year old, her score in the Young Horse Series jump chute placed her third nationally among eventers!

Under saddle, Emmy has proven to be very eager to please, balanced, and sensible, both in and outside the ring. She was started by Fox Hole Farm through the Backing Horses with The Frame program, and continued her training at The Frame in Middleburg, Virginia, where she is currently doing introductory level flat, jumping, and cross country schooling. Emmy was not backed until the age of 5 due to medical issues of her owner/breeder, so she is a little green for her age but therefore also has the advantage of not having been overworked during her younger growth years.

Emmy is forward thinking but not overly hot, and is very willing to please both under saddle and on the ground. We believe she would be best suited to an ambitious young rider who wants a horse to grow with through the levels. As with all our youngstock, we would love to keep in touch, to follow along and cheer for her in her next home. Listed at $30k.
